Partner Institutions

Below is a list of ActInCourts’ partner institutions that assist with research, networking, and other collaborative initiatives.

	University of British Columbia Department of Political Science The Political Science Department at UBC is the host institution of the network. The department currently has 35 full-time faculty members and specializes in Indigenous politics, critical political theory and identity politics, and democratic theory and practice.
	University of Washington Department of Political Science The Political Science Department at UW has 26 full-time faculty members and specializes in policy processes, law and politics, politics and race, political communications, and constitutional development.
	Global Justice Lab at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy The Global Justice Lab is a centre of knowledge sharing and collaborative inquiry across many dimensions of justice, which includes criminal justice systems, formal responses to counterterrorism and violent extremism, and the international governance of human rights.
	iCourts at the Danish National Research Foundation’s Centre of Excellence for International Courts iCourts is a research centre dedicated to the study of international courts, their role in a globalising legal order and their impact on politics and society.
